Alexander Moore, MD
11512 Lake Mead Avenue
Suite 521
Jacksonville, FL 32256

Alexander Moore was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and attended The Georgia Institute of Technology where he graduated with honors with a degree in Chemistry. From there he pursued his dream of practicing medicine and graduated in the top 25% of his class from St. George's University School of Medicine in May of 2003. Having lived in New Jersey for the previous two years, Alexander then returned to the South and began his Family Medicine Residency in Jacksonville, Florida at St. Vincents Family Medicine Residency Program. Deciding to pursue Family Medicine was not an easy decision. While that's where his heart lay, most of his friends were pursuing medical or surgical subspecialties. Ultimately though, Alexander followed his heart and kept to his own ideals and goals for the future.

Alexander quickly developed a warm, empathetic style with his patients. He also began to develop his own vision of what Family Medicine should be, a vision that he is now working to make a reality. Alexander believes that a primary care practice should offer a broad spectrum of preventative and wellness services. It should be comfortable with managing common chronic diseases such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, and COPD. It should be convenient and available to address acute health problems at the time the problem presents. But first and foremost, it should focus on prevention and helping patients stay healthy and out of the hospital.

Mary Kay Ross, MD
337 Commercial Drive
Suite 100
Savannah, GA 31406

Dr. Mary Kay Ross began practicing medicine in 1999. Dr. Ross is a proud Louisville cardinal, attending the University of Louisville for both her undergraduate and medical school training. Dr. Ross is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is board certified in emergency medicine. Dr. Ross\'s interest in age management medicine and hormone replacement therapy began after Dr. Gary Bernard treated several of her family members. She quickly recognized the benefits of hormone replacement therapy, and what it offered to patients suffering from disease processes that naturally affect people as they age. Fascinated by the results and changes that her family members had experienced, she and her husband too became patients of Dr. Bernard. After she and her husband also experienced positive results from hormone replacement therapy she became a true believer, and obtained training in hormone replacement and age management medicine under the direction of Dr. Bernard.

Over the past ten years, Dr. Ross has had the opportunity to work in several emergency rooms around the country. During this time, she has had the pleasure of teaching medical students, residents, and paramedics. Dr. Ross enjoys the challenge of emergency medicine, and feels that she is able to make a difference and impact her patients during the short time she spends with them in the emergency room.

Sadly, Dr. Ross has witnessed first-hand the overall health decline of the American population. Increases in diabetes, hypertension, heart disease and obesity are clearly evident. Realizing an increase in the aging population, coupled with the overall health decline of Americans, Dr. Ross has decided to apply her medical knowledge and training to help treat her patients with a more holistic natural approach.

It is her belief, that with the proper regime of hormone balancing and lifestyle modifications many illnesses and symptoms she has found so frustrating in the emergency room may be avoided or at the very least minimized. She feels that this truly is preventative care, and the wave of the future in health care.

Dr. Ross is committed to helping her patients continue to be productive, active, and healthy individuals. While still attending to patients in the emergency department, Dr. Ross has decided to join forces with Dr. Bernard in Jacksonville, FL and she has opened a Live Well MD clinic in Savannah, GA specializing in Age Management Medicine and hormone replacement.
