 Gary C. Bernard, MD is board certified in Internal Medicine and Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine. He is the founder and CEO of Live Well MD. Dr. Bernard's focus is on preventative and proactive medicine that is centered around Natural Hormone Balancing. Dr. Bernard was born and raised in Syracuse, New York where he studied family medicine. He furthered his study in medicine at Brown University's Rhode Island Hospital. He continued his medical education at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Dr. Bernard moved to Jacksonville, Florida in order to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Bernard has been in the practice of Family and Internal Medicine since 1999 emphasizing natural hormone replacement.

 Leiah Walrod, M.D. was raised locally in Green Cove Springs, Florida. She is extremely happy to be practicing in the area of her hometown. After graduating from the University of Florida in 1996, she pursued her medical doctorate at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. She then received her training in Family Medicine at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. In the following four years, Dr. Walrod served in the United States Navy as a primary care physician. She worked at a very busy primary care clinic in Great Lakes, Illinois.

At the completion of her military service, Dr. Walrod began taking an interest in aesthetic medicine. She attended extensive training in the administration of Botox Cosmetics, Dermal Fillers and Chemical Peels. Leiah applied this training in cosmetics while working for a Medical Spa near the Chicago area. During the years that she worked in the Medical Spa setting, she found extreme enjoyment in helping people to feel their best by looking their best. While feeling the pleasure of helping her clients look great outwardly, she began to realize that there must be a way to help her clients feel just as well inwardly. It was during those years of practicing Aesthetic Medicine that she started down the path of Anti-Aging Medicine and Natural Hormone Replenishment. Through research and ‘word of mouth’ Leiah learned of Pointe Medical Services, Live Well MD, and the successful work of Dr. Gary Bernard in this growing field of medicine.

Dr. Walrod is extremely happy to be able to provide treatments in the form of Natural Hormone Replacement, Anti-Aging Medicine, and Cosmetic Services in the primary care setting.  My name is Keisha Pittman-Pugh and I have been the nurse practitioner for Pointe Medical Services for the last two years. I come from a military family and have traveled all over the world. I am married and have two wonderful children, a son and a daughter. I enjoy sports and traveling with my family and friends. I attended and graduated from the Albany State University of Georgia, where I received my undergraduates and graduates degree.

I became a nurse practitioner in 2009 because I wanted to have a closer relationship to my patients and having more involvement in their health and treatments. I enjoy seeing the transformation in our patients as we help them better their health and life style by practicing cutting edge and moderate medicine.

 Dr. Michael Haghighi was raised in Columbia, South Carolina and that is where he completed his Bachelor degree in pre-medical biology at University of South Carolina. He continued his path in medicine by attending The American University of Caribbean School of Medicine. After completing his Masters of Science and his Medical Degree his goal was to be involved in the entire field of medicine. Family medicine is a field of medicine that has put him in that path, which also involves Sports Medicine and Bio-identical Hormone Replacement therapy. He completed his Family Practice residency at Louisiana State University, and completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Haghighi is board certified in Family Medicine.

Since completing his training he has been working in private practice and has been able to grow by being involved in the community, encouraging healthy living and sports. He is currently team physician for multiple area high schools.

His love for healthy lifestyle is what drives him now to be involved in the field of Bio-identical Hormone Replacement. Dr. Haghighi is married to Dr. Roshni Patel whom he met in medical school and both currently practice together in their private practice. They have two young children and live in the Jacksonville Beach's area.
